spirit presence and breast cancer

Here is an example of an interesting case. I have a good friend, we shall call her Kate. Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer and went for surgery to have the breast removed. I was there with her at the hospital for support and wanted to do some energy work after surgery to ensure a quick and easy recovery.

I have done Reiki and energy balancing on many people for a variety of reasons. I was very amazed at how disoriented the energy system was after the surgery, I am sure she was not fully past the affects of the anesthetic so that probably was part of the problem. But still, the energy system was very messed up. (note: I had done reiki before the surgery to make sure she was clear and ready to go) So I continued to do Reiki with the intent of clearing the confusion and allowing a natural energy flow to return to her system. After a few minutes of energy work I felt this amazing energy building up and then all of a sudden a great release happened and an image of Kate's mother popped out of her body, smiled at me and walked away.

Now, Kate's mother also had breast cancer and a mastectomy, but she had crossed over a few years back.

So here was my dilemma, did that happen because:
a- Kate needed support and her mother showed up to strenthen her by placing her etheric spirit into Kates body through the surgery. A kind and supportive thing to do if spirit could do that.
b- Kate had taken on the emotional memory and trama of her mother's surgery and carried it all these years until she manifested the same imbalance. And now that the imbalance was complete she was able to leave? Scary option but I have seen it happen before.
c- I am sure there are other options I did not think of at the time

My First Post

It is my intention for this blog to be an open discussion of the metaphysics of healing. In the 14 years that I have been working in the healing industry, I have discovered so many fascinating things. The more I learn, the more I realize I can't possibily grasp all the variables and influences that affect personal healing. But I find it fascinating.

I would love to share my experiences and insights. I have learned to question everything and never assume I already know the answer. I learn new aspects of healing everyday and with every client I work with. I have studied many, many healing therapies looking for the fastest route to helping someone heal. I now work as an intuitive healer looking inside the body, mind and soul of the client to seek the answer to their healing path. So, journey along with me, make comments, ask questions and let's stimulate each other to seek the deepest truth possible.
